Janelly Hidalgo is a 4th year Chemical Engineering major with a minor in Mathematics. Last January, Hidalgo took a semester off to complete a Co-op at Syngenta in production engineering. She got the opportunity and connections after meeting with Career Services and attending the Career Fair. "I met with the C.O.E Career Services guides to get feedback on my resume, and that really made me feel confident when I went to the Career Fair last fall. The Career Fair allowed me to connect with the people and company I did my internship at, as well as make other engineering connections," said Hidalgo. "Lastly, I met with Theresa Luensmann, the assistant director for the college of engineering career services and she walked me through the whole process of taking a semester off to do my internship as well as being a great point of contact for anything else I needed."
