Today, is my 18 year anniversary with CNN. When I arrived to Atlanta in 2006, there were still some of the original CNN employees from 1980. I latched onto them immediately. It was the CNN originals who instilled in me the vision of Ted Turner and his belief that the news was the star. It is and always has been. I’ve stayed at CNN over the years, turning down chances to leave for more money and seemingly bigger titles because I believe in that core message of CNN. I still believe in the vision of Ted Turner.
