Experience History: The NC State Virtual Martin Luther King, Jr. Project 🎙️
Embark on a journey through time at D.H. Hill Jr. Library's Cyma Rubin Visualization Gallery with the NC State Virtual Martin Luther King, Jr. Project—a groundbreaking virtual experience bringing Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s influential 1960 speech, "A Creative Protest," to life.
“This project is an exciting opportunity for all of us to take a moment to experience history and to think about it in relation to our lives today. Many of us know about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but very few of us have ever met him or have actually gotten the chance to hear this speech because there was no known recording. We here at NC State are lucky to have this opportunity to experience a historic speech that references students of North Carolina,” says Dr. Gallagher, vMLK project lead.
