While conducting a patrol check in cityofrosemead a Field Training Officer and the Trainee observed a male in possession of shopping cart, which is a misdemeanor if not within the store parking lot. After contacting the male, he made advised the deputies he was in possession of a firearm. During their investigation, they recovered the firearm and discovered the male was a convicted felon.
