🚨They’re advancing to Semifinals! Congrats, Nathan and Alexander! ▪️Update from GHSA 6A State Wrestling – Day 1 – Quarterfinals Our Wrestling Raiders represented in the State Quarterfinals in Macon on Thursday, winning both matches. At 126 lbs, Alexander Reid won a tight match, 6-5, over Dylan Jurovschi from Jackson County. He faces top seed Hunter Kegley (48-4) from 2024 State Dual (Team) Champs Glenn Academy in the Semifinals. At 150 lbs, Nathan Johnson pulled out a 14-6 win over Kevin Poythress of Effigham County. Nathan will take on Dmitriy Vostrikov (56-1, last year’s 6A State Champ at 144lbs) from North Forsyth in the Semifinals. Good luck to both Raiders!!!! Friday’s semifinal matches should take place around 4:00 – 5:30 pm. These are being streamed and can be accessed at this link (see link in our bio).
