Another piece of Steve Prefontaine’s legacy lives on in our community. Local Olympian @benfblankenship launched his non-profit, @endless_mileage, to immortalize all American milers who have broken the 4-minute and 4:30 barrier in the event. The 37th American male to do so, Steve Prefontaine now has a tree planted in his honor in the “Fast Forest,” a grove dedicated to the effort at Dorris Ranch.
