In her own words: UC Hall of Famer Doris Scott
After battling through a knee injury as a junior in high school, Doris Scott became a top-50 recruit. She chose gobearcatswbb over Purdue, and she helped usher in an era of success in Cincinnati. Her freshman team won just eight games, but her senior team won 22 and made an NCAA tournament appearance that proved to be part of seven consecutive postseason trips by the Bearcats.
Scott finished her UC career with 1,695 points (good for eighth in program history), 861 rebounds (which ranks fourth), and led her team in blocked shots in each of her four seasons.
She was inducted into the UC Hall of Fame in 2018.
