Geisel Library is the iconic heart of UC San Diego, but did you know these fun facts? 📓 Geisel Library has eight total floors but two are below ground! 📔 The first books were moved into the building in June of 1970. 📙 The widest floor above ground is the sixth floor. 📕 Floors 4-7 are intended for individual, quiet study and floor eight is for silent study. 📗 The library offers reservable study spaces, workshops, and de-stress activites. 📘 Audrey's Café, located on the second (main) floor, offers coffee, tea, pastries, sandwiches, and snacks. #ucsd #ucsandiego #geisel #library
