And I’d do it again. 🏈🤍💰 IT WAS AN INTERNSHIP. A way for us young creatives to grow, learn, and work on the biggest stage of college football. The week I spent in Houston was ✨priceless✨ It was a dream come true. So why does the pay not matter? 1️⃣ I am a student and most students do 1-3 unpaid internships in their college careers. 2️⃣ I gained knowledge, a network, and memories I could never get anywhere else. 3️⃣ They covered all necessary expenses. All I had to do was come work. 4️⃣ MY BIGGEST REASON: this experience/the networking will help me find a FULL-TIME JOB one day. I can’t sit here and say interning for the CFP was not a privilege. IT WAS. I know tons of photographers who cannot afford to work for free bc they have families to feed and bills to pay that I don’t. I AM PRIVILEGED to have had the opportunity.
