“Internalize” 16x20 acrylic painting • • • This one was a long time coming, a little delayed on the posting of it too! I sketched this out around the spring of 2020 and finally got to making it a reality in late November. I based this off of how we often internalize stress, emotions, and other feelings, leading to the effects outlined. Pulling apart these feelings, fighting them, pushing them away, or shutting them out altogether in the process of overthinking. Creating these pieces vocalize my thoughts and help to visualize how my mind works sometimes.
