Through a series of three trades, Browns GM John Dorsey has acquired quarterback Tyrod Taylor from Buffalo, wide receiver Jarvis Landry from Miami and cornerback Damarious Randall from Green Bay while retaining five of the top 65 picks in the 2018 draft. Then today they added a conditional pick from New England for defensive tackle Danny Shelton. With all these big moves we thought we needed a little more information on the man wheeling and dealing in Cleveland: Dorsey was born in Annapolis, MD. He played LB at UConn, before getting drafted by the Packers in the fourth round in 1984. Although his career was cut short by knee injuries, he still owns a Packers record of 35 special teams tackles in a season. He’s worked in the front offices of the Packers, Seahawks, Chiefs and now the Browns. When he’s not coordinating big-time trades, Dorsey has been known to run marathons and water ski. .
