I'd rather try and risk failure than not try at all. Last year I ran the brokenarrowskyrace VK. Can you spot me tripping😂. The night before the race I decided to run it in my walking leg rather than my blade. As they say, never try something new on race day🤦😂. The course had a lot of snow at the top and for some reason I thought I'd have more stability in my walking foot. I finished the race but it wasn't pretty 😂 I never trail ran in my walking foot so I lacked confidence and the foot just kept getting in the way. I even slid down the mountain twice on the snow sections and had to climb back up😂.
