Meet Mr. Harold, Extension Services Manager, who has worked for SJCPLS for over 35 years! Favorite thing about working at SJCPLS: "My favorite reasons is 100% the people, and the fact that no one needs an invitation to enter the building." Favorite patron memory: "I was watching the door while the Main Library circulation staff had a meeting. An elderly man came before opening time, and I decided to let him in since it was so chilly, and we sat at the reference desk and talked until the Circulation staff opened the building. Later that day, his son called to thank me, as his father had come to the library after visiting his mother’s grave who had just died a few weeks before. Something that seemed like no big deal to me was comforting to someone who was experiencing loss and grief." #NationalLibraryWeek2022 . . . #ILoveS...
