Perhaps one of the cuddliest days of the year, it's National #WinniethePoohDay! We celebrate this sweet day to commemorate author A. A. Milne's birthday, who brought our honey-loving character to life. Did you know that our beloved Pooh Bear was inspired by a real-life black bear that lived at the London Zoo during World War I? Milne and his son, Christopher Robin, would visit Winnie the Bear often, and Christopher even named his own teddy bear after her. . . . #ilovesjcpls #librarylove #librarylife #books #read #libraries #librarybooks #librarians #librariansofinstagram #staugustine #readersofinstagram #bookstagram *Photo by Mel Poole on Unsplash.
