𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 ~ ~ Swipe for Original ~ ~ This one was fun but a real learning experience for me. I started my typical process of applying a preset, and color grading, and as I progressed, I started to realize it was just not meeting my expectations… Like…at all 😕 So I scratched it, and started over completely. This time I applied a preset that I felt would fit a theme, that a previous shot of mine did. I started by looking at what exactly do I want to change in this photo, and how can I do just that? By first working with my light adjustments, and then moving toward color, and effects, it became clear that more masks were needed for this photo. By masking out the background, the top half of the clock, and the dial area of the clock, I was able to bring out the white in the columns, and adjust the color and lighting in the clock to pop out from the white, but relate to the gold coloring. From there, I just had to make a few changes to the texture and clarity, as well as the geometry ...
