In a recent report by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), the nonprofit noted that targeting oyster restoration in 20 local rivers, growing the oyster aquaculture industry, and modernizing the management of the wild oyster harvest would, among other benefits, increase the region’s resiliency to climate change.
