Launching a women’s empowerment nonprofit 💪 Watch a day in the life of Qavalina, a rising junior at Skidmore who is majoring in international affairs and minoring in business and anthropology. This summer, Qavalina is starting a non-profit centered around women’s empowerment. Her efforts are focused on two projects: virtually assisting teachers in Afghanistan who are teaching girls who are denied education under the current regime, and supporting women in villages in rural India through technological and financial literacy.
