Tips for traveling with a toddler:
1. Try to fly about an hour before their normal sleep time (nap, or night). That first hour of the flight can be busy and loud, plus they’ll be excited and stimulated. Once that wears off and food/drink service concludes, things should be calmer.
2. Get a window seat so they’re less tempted to explore the aisle. All the better if someone flying with you can take the middle/aisle to form a baracade 🤣 plus they’ll love looking out the window. Great time killer while you’re taxiing- point out everything you see, quizzing them on the colors and description of everything. Stickers and post its are fun on the window too. Good way to keep them directed away from other passengers
3. Give them some kind of drink at take off and landing to help with their ears popping- pouch, bottle, juice.
4. Massage under their ears to help with the pressure
