After making a long trek to Temple, the Knights JV team took on Lake Benton. The Broncos were not very generous hosts, coming out on top in today’s game by a final score of 52-0. With the Broncos dominating the score board, the Knights worked on execution and communication. “Like Coach G was telling us, we are going to hit the weight room even harder and try to grow from this loss.” Sigfinnur Thorstinsson said. “I try not to let these games bring down my energy and stay motivated.” The Knights will stay closer to home next week as they take on the Navarro Vikings next Thursday at Noack field. The freshman kick off at 6 p.m., followed by the JV at 7:30 p.m. Caption and graphic by Isley Cameron, photos by Cameron and Julia Copas
