BACK IN THE GYM: In its first official match of the 2023 season , the newly promoted JV team lost 2-1 to Killeen Shoemaker on Monday.   Sophomore Charlotte Cross said  even though the beginning of the season started off a little rough the team will find its rhythm. “It’s been an adjustment for all of us since there are freshman, sophomores, and juniors on the team.“ The JV team lost in straight sets on Tuesday at Belton. After dropping the first set, 25-11, the team competed much better in the second set before losing, 25-23. Although the first games of the season were defeats, the team has a whole season ahead of them. All three subvarsity teams play again tonight at McCallum against Pflugerville. Freshman B plays at 5:30 p.m., freshman A plays at 6:30, and JV plays at 7:30.  The varsity meanwhile is back in action today at the Jason Landers tournament.
