Evelyn ’18 MA was the designated “Buckeye Buddy” to Gustavo ’19 MA as he started his masters program at Ohio State. They were both Latinx students from out of state and their friendship grew quickly through their shared culture and homesickness. Despite busy schedules, they made time to attend football games, hold karaoke nights and study together. After graduation they kept in touch and Gustavo even adopted a dog from her family! #BuckeyeLove
