Breathe a sigh of relief, Cleveland sports fans. The new @cavs jerseys are actually awesome — no ransom-note lettering or weird, new oranges. Designed by creative director and renowned artist @danielarsham, the blue-and-tan colorway, representing where land meets water, is inspired by the Cleveland Metroparks. “From the miles and miles of bustling Lake Erie coastline to the award-winning Cleveland Metroparks, the colors and tones of our City Edition uniform represent the incredible natural resources that make up our home region,” said Arsham in a press release. “We’re proud to champion the Metroparks, the grand protector of these resources and a crown jewel of Northeast Ohio, through this unique collaboration.”  The Donovan Mitchell-led Cavs — who have burst out of the gate with an 8-3 record, the second-best in the Eastern Conference — plan to don the muted uniforms on Nov. 13 in a home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
