CLEMSON INVITE 💫 mile/3k double race recap❕ day 1. friday. raced the mile. oof it was tough 😅 i’ve been trying to do more mile paced workouts (aka shorter, faster reps) so i was excited to see if any of them paid off going into this race. very thankful to have had the chance to race it tho & now i can have something to think about during future mile pace workouts about the pain difference of a mile 🙃 day 2. saturday. 3k. much better w/ the distance. 😝 got the close time-wise as i finished the season last year, so really hoping it’s only quicker from here 🤞 but this race felt much more like a race. the mile felt like i was hanging on for dear life, but in the 3k it felt like i was trying to hang with people sometimes & other times i was trying to make moves to go around. much more engaging & enjoyed it much more wouldn’t be a complete race weekend without lots of pre & post race hugs 🤗 but in all honesty, i don’t vibe with indoor track a ton buttttt we’re grinding to hopeful...
