The crew just got back from 3 days of intense off-road testing with the engineers from Fox Shocks at their impressive Marking Proving Grounds (MPG) in Ocotillo, CA. The Factory Five team of Jim Schenck, Colby Whipple, Nate Johnson and customer John Kabacinski racked up many hours and hundreds of miles thru three days of hardcore testing and development across a variety of challenging terrain and driving conditions. The black carbon-fiber bodied XTF features a 650hp supercharged 5.0L Coyote engine and was built with a 120,000 mile 2015 Ford F-150 XLT! The beast has now logged almost 2000 miles of So Cal driving and desert testing without a hiccup! We will have full galleries and videos in the coming days. The consensus is that the Factory Five XTF is really three vehicles in one.. it is the perfect daily driver extreme truck. It is a capable off-road racer platform, and it is definitely the go-to vehicle for the coming Armageddon! The only catch is you gotta build it yourself! ...
