If you didn’t know I went on a missions trip with my church to Honduras and it was definitely life changing and eye opening! As a third world country the people there had so much joy and happiness. They didn’t need a cool car, nice clothes, expensive jewelry or big house to be happy. They found true joy in Jesus and that’s what it’s all about and they proved it right then and there. During the kids event I was in charge of making ballon swords and every time I handed a kid one, their face immediately lit up. Sometimes you gotta step way back and enjoy and be grateful with the little things. Understand that yes, things can be better but, things can always be worse. My last and favorite thought I’ll say is that although I couldn’t speak their language and understand them. One thing I did understand is that we all love Jesus and we praised him as one family. We are from different countries, different cultures, different backgrounds, and have different languages but that didn’t stop us...
