Jojo first came to prominence during the pandemic, highlighting its significant impact on the Navajo Nation through social media. “I felt the importance of using my platform to create awareness of the extreme vulnerability that the coronavirus created for my Diné people.”
Flash-forward to 2024, and Jojo’s acting in a breakout role in the anticipated film “Rez Ball.” “All I can say is that this film is very much a win for Native people, as well my two-spirited peers.”
