It’s like snakes on a plane… but make it maggots. In the most recent series of flight fiascos, a Delta Airlines flight was forced to fly back to Amsterdam after passengers complained about maggots quite literally falling on top of them from an overhead compartment.⁠ ⁠ The reason? Someone committed the ultimate party foul: They packed rotting fish in their carry-on bag, and the larvae started to fall out of it.⁠ ⁠ To apologize for the nightmarish situation, the airline gifted everyone (including the rotting fish owner) 8,000 miles.
