Almost everywhere required a hefty entrance fee, and we became super selective of where we explored… No doubt - Costa Rica is an incredible place to visit and its natural beauty is unmatched, however, it comes with a hefty(er) price tag. Enter Ecuador. One of South America’s smallest countries packs a major punch, and we found it to be super affordable. So let’s break it down… 💦WATERFALL ENTRANCE FEES💦 (What we spent in 2023) 🇨🇷Costa Rica = $90 each for 8 waterfall entrance + $120 each for waterfall rappelling. 🇪🇨 Ecuador = $8.50 each for 6 waterfalls + a dozen or so free roadsides stops!
