Last week, Jason Weigandt, Mitch Kendra, and Matt Rice got down and dirty on three bikes from the 2024 Yamaha cross country lineup: YZ450FX, YZ250X, and YZ125X. The ‘24 YZ450FX has the significant updates we saw to the 2023 YZ450F that Eli Tomac raced in AMA Supercross last year (chassis, frame, rider triangle, engine, suspension, etc.) but with some changes to make the cross country machine off-road friendly (softer suspension, wide ratio gearing in transmission, different mapping, 18-inch rear wheel, kick stand, full coverage skid plate, and more). The 2024 YZ125X and YZ250X two-strokes do not have many changes but they sure were fun to ride!
