I grew up playing basketball from elementary to high school and when I moved to NYC I found my community in women’s sports through the lens of photography. My friend, Alex Taylor, always says “it’s not just about basketball” and I’ve found this to be true. Women’s basketball is family first followed by grit and determination to continually be better. These sentiments are true of my photography as well, and I think this is why I’ve found my home shooting women’s basketball in New York City. Working with Moolah is dope because they have taken the time to hone into what’s important by perfecting the game of women’s basketball.
