After learning about Newton’s laws, forces, and frictions, our eighth graders put their newfound knowledge to the test by building whirlybirds with safety mechanisms to carefully carry an egg on its descent from the Quad’s mezzanine, all while investigating the impacts of varying rotors and fuselages as it landed one story below.
