Swifties are heading to Europe this summer—and everyone from airlines and hotels to tourism boards and tour companies are trying to snag a share of “the Swift Lift.”
The economic impact driven by the pop star's fans has been massive: Tour-goers generated over $100 million of incremental restaurant sales alone at concert venues during the US leg of the Eras tour.
Flights will be extra packed during the European leg of her tour… so if you’re not a Swiftie, make sure you don’t get stuck on a plane full of passengers singing “Cruel Summer” a capella. However, if you’re dying to catch a show abroad and have no one to go with, group trips through brands like contiki have already been created to connect like-minded Swifties going the extra mile.
