Do you know what it’s called when someone takes advantage of a vulnerable individual?
It’s predatory behavior.
Telling someone that a single exercise or stretch will fix their pain when they don’t know any better is predatory behavior.
It’s preying on the ignorance of the general public. To appear as an expert, build an audience, and then sell them something later when the quick fix doesn’t work.
PROTECT YOURSELF!
Here’s how to do it:
*If they make outrageous claims like “POV, you start doing this one exercise, and your back pain goes away,” it’s a RED FLAG
*If they speak in absolutes, “This works EVERY TIME,” they likely have no idea what they’re talking about.
*If they claim to have hidden/forgotten/suppressed information, they intend to prey on the FOMO of vulnerable individuals.
Stay sharp out there team.
