I was told by my fellow peers that the Oregon Wrestling State Championships is always a “chaotic” & “messy” place to photograph. This was my first time covering the event & I agree… It wasn’t a walk in the park if you wanted unique images. Between the other photographers, tough backgrounds, lack of dramatic lighting & just the nature of the sport I really had to look for angles/moments.
