Dedicated to Kevin Duane Ferrell Sr. 🏀🕊 Welcome to Woodruff Place Baptist Church… aka “The Church.” This 160-year old church is a community space for Indianapolis kids that hosts basketball games, after-school activities, and a “Ministry of Love” food pantry. During All-Star Weekend, thehoopbus, local_hoops, and electrolit transformed The Church by remaking its basketball court, adding iridescent backboards, and much more. NBA player, Yogi Ferrell, inaugurated the new gym. He grew up in Indy and used to hoop at The Church every Saturday with his father—who passed away the week prior 🖤 At the ribbon cutting ceremony, he shared a story about Pops and left a message for the kids. Thank you, Yogi, for coming to “Saturday Gym.”
