Get to know Ms. Betsy! • Ms. Betsy started at Central Wesleyan College in September of 1969, with intentions to become a medical researcher or doctor. After completing three- and one-half years of school, she quit and decided to attend nursing school at Greenville Tech. • Ms. Betsy had a "wonderful career" as a Registered Nurse, which is what she realized she was called to do. After Ms. Betsy’s retirement in 2015, her and her husband spent their time traveling. However, in 2021 her husband passed away. • After this, Ms. Betsy claims she was encouraged by her friends to finish the degree she had started in 1969. In agreement that she needed something to occupy her time since her husband's passing, she returned to SWU. • Ms. Betsy will graduate in May of 2023, finishing her degree exactly where she started. • "God has been gracious and has led me right back where I started, and I will forever remain thankful for his wondrous love and gifts to me.” ______________________________________...
