The annual Father/Son Communion Mass & Breakfast earlier this month saw Mass celebrated at St. Michael Church, followed by a wonderful gathering at the Pearl Street Grill. The great annual tradition is hosted by the terrific Canisius High School Parents Association.
The keynote speaker was C.J. Wild ’16, a U.S. Navy Chaplain who will be ordained to be a transitional deacon in May 2025 and a priest in June 2026. He has also been a Lancaster volunteer firefighter since 2012.
Wild, who was Mr. Canisius 2016, graduated from St. John Fisher and attended St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore. His current Navy rank is Lieutenant Junior Grade after being commissioned to the Navy in January 2022 in the Navy Chaplain Corps.

The CHS Parents Association annually sponsors and coordinates a variety of CHS events "in support of the school and our sons." We are grateful for all their efforts in so many ways in support of Canisius.
