Goal: upper pulling strength & power endurance
Ring mu
You should feel slightly more relaxed during the ring mu as there is less force required. This movement has the same ROM as the Bar mu, but it’s broken up with two pull + push actions.
Bar mu
You need to put more force into this than the ring mu because it’s a more powerful movement by nature, as explained above. But also because you will be fatigued at this point.
