A hectic winter for Berkeley’s historic People’s Park has taken another twist as the makeshift “People’s Free Store” unexpectedly shut down last week. Planters now sit on the corner of Telegraph Avenue and Dwight Way in the Dwight Triangle, where the Free Store was located, once filled with tents, chairs and supplies for those in need. However, activists who distributed resources at the location plan to continue doing so, albeit differently.
