Student Spotlight: Kara Cushman at NC State’s University Theatre 🎭 Meet Kara, a junior majoring in communication with a concentration in media and a minor in vocal music performance, whose passion for theater shines brightly on stage. “I’ve been involved in musical theater for most of my life, but being a part of University Theatre’s Dr.Jekyll & Hyde has been one of my favorite musical experiences thus far. Here at NC State, you might’ve previously seen me as Pearl in Spongebob the Musical, Dr. Billeaux in Urinetown or Evil Gabbi in She Kills Monsters.
