Broomball, anyone? #Yale One of the many activities offered through the Yale Undergraduate Intramural (IM) program, broomball is a game a lot like hockey. Most hockey rules apply except that the game is played with a regulation broomball stick (which is shaped like a broom) and a regulation broomball (which is a heavy plastic ball, slightly bigger than a softball). This week, teams representing all of Yale’s residential colleges were squaring off in the Whale (Ingalls Rink). And while the goal of most of these athletes may be to beat their college counterparts, the Yale IM program emphasizes community, the values of sportsmanship, and the lessons learned through competitive sports. 🔗 Tap the link our bio to learn more about broomball and Yale’s other intramural sports – dodgeball, table tennis, basketball, and much more! 🎥: @zoe.video
