Temple Station deputies assigned to the@southelmontecitygov Special Assignment Team (SAO) , alongside the Fraud and Cyber Crimes Bureau and Major Crimes Bureau, Organized Retail Theft Task Force organized and conducted a fraud/crime prevention workshop The informative workshop took place at the South El Monte Senior Center located at: 1556 Central Avenue, South El Monte, CA, 91733 The purpose of this fraud/crime prevention workshop was to bring awareness to detection, prevention, and to mitigate victims of crimes related to fraud and retail theft. Of the senior citizens present, many spoke the languages of English, Spanish, and Chinese- Mandarin.
