Oregon music fans can rest easy knowing Pickathon will continue rocking the forests of the Willamette Valley.
Organizers of the multi-day music festival announced Wednesday that they were able to secure a new 10-year permit from the city of Happy Valley to continue holding their event at Pendarvis Farm, an 80-acre outdoor venue that has hosted Pickathon since 2006.
“We are thrilled to announce that our 10-year permit at Pendarvis Farm has been approved, and we can officially confirm that Pickathon 2024 is happening!” festival founder Zale Schoenborn said in a news release Wednesday. “Right from the start, we reached out to our neighbors, the city of Happy Valley, and our community in the decision-making process for the future of Pickathon at Pendarvis Farm.”
