Today, “Rare @ Dwight” is excited to celebrate Rare Disease Day! Today is all about raising awareness and generating change for all those living with a rare condition, their families, and caretakers! Rare diseases, also known as orphan diseases, are conditions that affect fewer than 200,000 people nationwide. Currently, Rare @ Dwight, a Dwight club led by Eli ‘25 and Max Schoenfeld ‘25, intends to spread awareness about these diseases and will be working collaboratively with various pharmaceutical companies and non-profits to investigate patient relations and source disparities in the medical and business sectors.
