Some ideas to help you attack the first open workout of 2024. Think about it: you will start fresh and end gassed; these ideas account for this and will help your body maneuver the changes it will go through from start to finish.
_BURPEES_
Don’t fly and die. Start controlled and stay controlled. If you pace from the beginning (ie. 6 seconds per burpee) you can better hold on to a pace in the end. Don’t forget, it’s 90 total burpees. Refer to the clock in this video to see various paces and refer to my previous video for pacing strategy.
_SNATCHES_
Break up your snatches however you want but you want minimal time during your breaks. By dialing in a breathing pattern you will be able to maintain your best pace during the snatches.
