#WomensHistoryMonth at thebetsyrosshouse the house and memorial of Betsy Ross, a working class Philadelphian believed to have sewn the first American flag for the Continental Army.
Today, the historical site is open for tours, inviting guests to walk through and see what life was like during the 1700s. The house and its connected courtyard also make a unique event and meeting space. PHL Diversity Executive Director Sheila Alexander-Reid visited Betsy at her home to celebrate Women’s HERstory Month.
