Today marks my one-year houseversary, a journey filled with emotion and perseverance. After two years of relentless house hunting, facing countless rejections, and refusing to compromise my values, my dream seemed distant. Yet, on New Year’s Day 2023, a vision board brought hope, featuring a home eerily similar to what would become mine, down to the layout and size, a place I had passed by often without knowing.
