Cheers to 20 years of the isu_adp! Here’s to 20 more! Indiana State University is thrilled to announce the celebration and continuation of the American Democracy Project that helps educate students on how to participate in a thriving democracy. Since 2003 at Indiana State, ADP has continued to connect students to the greater Terre Haute community. Recent highlights include: -Going to the Indiana Statehouse to meet state legislators and talk about their work on campus. -Helping package meals with the Million Meal Movement -Playing an instrumental role in increasing young voter turnout during Terre Haute’s recent mayoral campaign. -Coordinating events to connect students with elected officials. The organization’s hard work has been recognized by the Washington Monthly, naming ISU one of the ‘Best Campuses for Voting.” #indianastateuniversity #gosycamores
