Had a few conversations the other day about what sport demands, pushes and exacts a toll on the athletes’ bodies the most. Two sports that were mentioned again and again were football and rowing, of course.
All rowers know the feeling of pushing yourself to the limit, collapsing in exhaustion only to recollect yourself and do it all over again. The daily grind can seem endless, as well. Lying in bed wondering how you’re going to find the energy to make it through the next workout, but you somehow muster the energy to do it. And, you do it. It takes a lot, but we love it.
Also, mad props to football players and all athletes who put your bodies through some extreme demands. We’re with you.
