In honor of Women’s History Month, we are highlighting inspirational Gonzaga Athletics alumni. Our first highlight is Katie Day, who played on the Women’s Tennis team during her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. During her senior year, Katie was diagnosed with a type of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Katie Day represents strength and resilience, as she was honored with the 2020 #WCCRepresent Award. The #WCCRepresent Award is the West Coast Conference’s sportsmanship campaign, which encourages the elevation of teams during competition.
